Great TIPS for IndieFest Weekend, followed by DIRECTIONS.
#1. Make sure you dress in Layers and Bring a JACKET! NTC/Liberty Station is right on the Bay and it can get Cold when the wind picks up! And feel free to bring a beach blanket so you can stretch out on the grass...a frisbee to throw around...sunscreen...& some moolah for BEEER!
#2. Remember that Saturday, March 12 is ALL the music and everything else. The ONLY stage that happens for a 2nd day, Sunday, March 13 is the Mental Eclectic Indie Film Stage!
#3. YES there will be all KINDS of Food, 21+ Beer / Drinking Garden, Veggie options, Delicious Coffee, indoor seating at the Film Stage, Grass to relax on, Trees to nap under, Free Art Classes to take for kids and grown ups and several FREE Stages...but if you want IndieFest to continue happening, please DO buy a ticket...this is a non-profit event and we need your support!
#4. The Official After Party is at Corvette Diner this year...the one at NTC, so it's just a short WALK from the Durga Sound Main Stage. And, for the 1st time ever, it's ALL AGES! Corvette Diner now has a Full Arcade, Full Menu AND Full Bar...FREE with your IndieFest wristband!
#5. To hang out with all the cool Film peeps on Sunday, head over to Wine Steals in NTC Sunday night at 8 PM for the Mental Eclectic Film Mixer, open to the public if you're at least 21...just a short walk from the Film Stage at the McMillan Center.
#6. YES, your cheap $25 ticket gets you in to BOTH days of IndieFest, that's over 100 acts, AND the Corvette Diner After Party and Film Stage Mixer at Wine Steals...What a Deeeeeeeeal!
#7. Plan to get there EARLY and stay LATE! Soooooo much fun right from Beat 1: African Drummers, the Train of Thought Open Mic Stage, AWEsome Films, Free Art Classes, Half Pipe and of course Amazing and crazy-diverse music All Day Long.

DIRECTIONS
Bus & Trolley Access: Take the MTS Bus or Trolley to the Old Town Trolley Station. At the station, board the 28 bus and exit at the Roosevelt & Rosecrans stop.
From the North:
From Interstate 5, take Rosecrans South. Enter NTC Promenade at Roosevelt and Rosecrans (Gate 3). Free parking is available in Parking Lot G (corner of Roosevelt and Truxtun) or in Parking Lot L (corner of Roosevelt and Historic Decatur). From the South:
From Interstate 5, take the Pacific Highway exit. Stay to the left and take the Barnett Avenue exit. Continue straight onto Lytton. Take a left on Sellers Plaza (Gate 1). Sellers Plaza will merge to Truxtun. The NTC Promenade buildings start at the corner of Truxtun and Dewey. Free parking is available in Parking Lot G (corner of Roosevelt and Truxtun) or in Parking Lot L (corner of Roosevelt and Historic Decatur). From the East:
From Interstate 8, take the Rosecrans exit. Continue on Rosecrans to Roosevelt. Enter the NTC Promenade by taking a left on Roosevelt (Gate 3). Free parking is available in Parking Lot G (corner of Roosevelt and Truxtun) or in Parking Lot L (corner of Roosevelt and Historic Decatur). From Downtown or the Airport:
From Downtown, take Harbor Drive past airport to Laning Road. Turn Right and take it to Rosecrans. Right on Rosecrans and right on Roosevelt (Gate 3). Free parking is available in Parking Lot G (corner of Roosevelt and Truxtun) or in Parking Lot L (corner of Roosevelt and Historic Decatur).
